ShutterSMART is a Polyclad Wood shutter designed to deliver the look and
feel of traditional wood shutters without the maintenance challenge of wood.
Our WoodTex Finish gives the soft feel and look of wood but is easy to
clean and guaranteed against fading, warping, cracking, and peeling.
The solid wood core delivers the strength of a wood shutter, allowing for
wide, tall, and strong panels that won’t come apart over time.
The hardwood is hand-selected and run through a kiln drying process. Each shutter is then custom-built, hand-sanded, and painted using our 4-coat baked-in finish. Each wood panel is prepped with 2 coats of primer and sealed with 2 coats of finishing paint. The baking process gives off a high-quality finish and is sealed durably for years to come.

We hand-pick the purest North American basswood paying close attention to minimize the imperfections found in natural wood. We then stain and sand twice over and finish off with a sealing coat to create a rich-looking traditional stained wood shutter. Miramonte Premier shutters are hand crafted to fine furniture quality standards.
